I am new member in this forum, my home town Mesa, Arizona.
I need some help about Searclear system II 50galon water pump.
What difference between water pumps and power head?
I bought the use fish tank from some one it war use for salt water, the tank came with RIO 2700 water pump.
I fill up my fish tank with fresh water, the water level fill up about 1/4 to over water flow section; I turn on the water pump the water pump make loud noise because it not enough water. I fill 1/4 more to over flow the water pump run fine no noise about 6 day, this morning I hear it make loud noise again I fill it up with 1 more gallon the noise stop.
I feel like this water pump it not right for this tank.
The RIO 2700 is the right water pump for this Seaclear system II 50galon?
Is that the way it supports to be work like that?
What is the right water pump for this tank?
If some one has the same fish tank please help
