Seahorse help.

Hello everyone! I need help with my seahorse,becaues he just stopped eating and he is looking a little slugish. The salinity and temp,and all the other parameters a fine. I have been feeding him and the other seahorse mysis shrimp and cyclop freeze for about four months and the one seahorse just stopped eating yesterday. I did get some more live rock and live sand. Could that be the problem? Thanks.

Have you checked the ammonia, nitrites and nitrates after the additions?

Yes, they are all fine.Could it be that the seahorse got bored of frozen?

Might try some live food even baby brine shrimp to see if that stimulates him. They can be quick to shut off and die.

I am going to some brine.Hopefully this works. Also would live black worms work?

will a seahorse really circle the drain that quick? even if its only been a day?

I would think so,becaues they have no stomach.(well that is what I heard.).

I just noticed this morning when I fed him mysis that he chased and weely striked it.So he has an interest in it but will hardly strike it.Anyone know the reason for this?
