Seahorse issues-orange county, ca

So the wife wanted seahorses. Has had 2 in a 30 tall for over 3 months. Recently one of them has obtained a swollen belly and he keeps swimming upside down and seems disorientated. We looked up the symptoms online and it seems to be gas/bubble disease which would require us to squeeze the belly area a little and puncture it with a needle to get rid of the air pocket. Problem is wife and i are to scared and have no experience in doing this.
Can anyone help? Had experience with this? Etc.

Saw some videos but as usual afraid we gonna hurt it by doing it wrong. Dont wanna go to deep or too much to one side and damage/kill it
