I am getting a 210 gallon fish tank it is glass for 200$ all I have to do is reseal it can any one tell me how

There are tons of write ups on how to do this, just search around.
But you basically use razor blades to remove all the old silicone and then clean the glass with alcohol or acetone. Then reseal with new silicone.

I got my 225 for $200 and had to reseal it. you remove ALL of the available sillicone with a extremely sharp razor blade. you need as little to be left as possible because the new stuff won't stick to the old stuff. then once you are all done (took me a few days of work) you just reseal it nice and even. I applied more than was necasarry because its a huge freaking tank and I would much rather it hold water and not look as attractive than you burst everywhere. It was also my first resealing and I was only 20 at the time so I guess if I can do it then you can too!

Nice find...ive resealed atleast a dozen glass tanks over the years up to a 265 gal with no problems. Take ur time and be very very careful. Razorblades are your best friend now lol...i like to use standard box cutter blades or 3" scraper blades. When u think all the silicone is removed keep scraping and i bet more will come off.. use alchohol and nail polish remover to clean the glass after scraping to make sure the silicone adheres. Continue the process of nail polish remover and scraping a few times over when you think you are done.....its amazing how much is left when you think its all removed. Good luck and be careful with those blades.

Also i purchace all my silicone from home depot for cheap. I use ge 1 silicone for window and doors. Its 100 percent silicone and fish safe. Ive used clear and black. Do not! I repeat do not get ge 2 brand. It has mildew prevention in it and will kill ur fish. I prpmise you it doesnt work i made this mistake 10 years ago when the stuff first came out. Do some digging at lowes, ace hardware, or homedepot they always still have the ge 1 brand silicone. You probably need 6-8 tubes for a tank that size

2 or 3 tubes of silicone should do it.

You can also get the silicone in a tube for a caulking gun. You would save some money, but then you have that giant gun to contend with. Good luck!
