Sealing Acrylic Holes

Quick question, an Acrylic tank I bought came with a couple extra holes that I don't want. I want to keep the bottom as flat as possible while making sure it doesn't leak, what are my best options in that regard? I know of bulkheads and glass covers but is there anything else? And if I chose to cover it with glass/acrylic, what kind of acrylic sealant would you recommend? And are there bulkheads that don't protrude too far from the bottom? I rather keep it as flat as possible.

The holes are an 1in thick.

Weld on 40...and you can buy small pieces of acrylic off ebay.
 
All depends how permenant u want it to be...u may need those holes down the road for a closed loop system or what not. Bulkheads with shut off valves can be used and is ur removable option. Weld-on #40 and acrylic patches are your permenant option. No way to break off acrylic bonded with #40 but u could always redrill the holes out through the patches if needed.

If I were u I would just use some bulkheads and cap them off. That way you would still have the option in the future. Or you might be able to silicone some glass over the holes in the acrylic. Not sure how well silicone would bond to both glass and acrylic but I would think it would work just fine.

Silicone and acrylic dont mix....def. dont recommend this advice for any amount of time...especially on the bottom of a tank, thats a disaster waiting to happen. Silicone on acrylic is basically a ticking time bomb.
