Sealing/fixing glass

I have a 120 gallon tank with a crack down the side of the tank, I know fixing glass on smaller tanks isn't really worth it, but would it be worth it to replace the glass than buying a whole new tank? And could the crack be sealed?

I just fixed a 120 with a crack in the back panel and one on a side panel.
I like to sandwich cracks with a pane on the outside and inside.
Glass and a tube of GE 1 silicone ran under $50, so to me it was a reasonable fix for a nice sized tank.

What thickness glass did you use for the repair ? And would u do a similar repair on a bottom panel ?

I used quarter inch glass panels, and have fixed bottoms with cracks too.
See the other post in this area about a cracked 80.
