apologies for the influx of threads......but this one is "serious"

here are the 4 areas where i have found some irregularities in the seams

each picture is a different area - each near a corner (2 bottom corners, and 2 top) --- each of the 4 inside side panel seams has a triangular piece running top to bottom for extra support just as an fyi

for size reference - it is 1" acrylic, and the tank has never been filled

i suppose these spots are "small" in relation to the size/length of the entire seam they are a part of - but @ 450gal in a living room, i need to know if i am in deep trouble here....

i appreciate the help and input....

hopefully its either no problem - or i just need some weldon 3/4/16 plus a syringe of some sort....

some additional pics w/ explanations

again, some points

- none of these irregularities run the entire length of a seam, they are basically 1" blots that occur around 2 top corners, and 2 bottom corners

- i know these are far from the standard seam failure - a white patch that runs many inches and is a complete separation - but i can't be too careful with a tank this size....

thanks for the help in advance guys

If this was my tank, I would contact the tank maker with my concerns. For piece of mind you could get some triangular shaped pieces and glue them to the affected area with some weld on

BTW I don't think your in danger of having a seam go right away, just keep an eye on it or be like me and reinforce the heck out of it, thats what I did with my 122 gallon, cause its in my living room and I live in a manufactured home and they are basically made of cardboard so didn't want the remote risk of ruining my house. The previous owner didn't have any issues?

previous owner never filled the tank - has sat in a warehouse from day one

all internal seems (the 4 corners) are all already reinforced with triangular rods the full height of the tank (as seen in the pic above) - i can't really see where else / how else i could reinforce it...

im sure im being a little extra paranoid....but it never hurts....

We'll then if its already reinforced maybe fill it up outside and see how it looks. I'd think it would be fine. Nothing wrong with being overly paranoid, I know I am.

ya, I would fill it up outside, let it sit a week and see how it holds. Looks like alot of airbubbles in the seems, that would be my only concerns. Meybe why they put the triangle bracing in. Could have been a defect when made and they added the triangles later the make sure the future of the tank would be ok.

I think it is very difficult to say. I have seen pics of seams that have gone bad and it doesn't look the same as your pics. I would fill it up and keep an eye on those areas to see if they grow. What you're looking at could simple be poor craftsmanship.
