Any bowlers in the house? Is anyone familiar with this?
In my opinion, Belmonte is a classless clown and the issue should have been resolved when Brad Angelo called him out in the first place. Watch the video. Clearly nobody handles water bottles like this.

Now with Rash, he ignored the crunching the first time. The second time he backed off the approach, and there were some looks and mutters from all of team Brunswick.
Randy Pedersen said something like, "Easily avoided if he'd just put the bottle down." How hard is it? I don't care if drinking water is your habit when you bowl. Do it while your opponent is walking back from throwing his shot.
Now rash could have handled it a little more professionally, but I'm glad he did something that loud. Rash did get fined and sent out an official apology.

Having a 225 average myself, I understand what Belmonte's opponents experienced. Somebody needs to get him a sippy cup and a refresher on bowling etiquette. However, you can't cure ignorance with a lecture.
