Today I lost a 12" Bala Shark due to overheating while traveling... =(
I was transporting 4 of them from South Dakota to Virginia all in their own 5" gall. buckets w/ batt. powered air. Well... today the heat got to my biggest one. I still have (2) 10" ones and a 8" one still alive.
This big one that died on me I bought in Seattle in '05 for $35 and I called the place to see if they would ship me a new one... sadly they don't ship, only pick up. This site is about my last resort, but still waiting on 2 places to call me tomorrow to see if they have any or will ship to me.
If anyone has 1 or 2 Bala Sharks around the 10-12" range that they can SHIP me, I'd appreciate it.
I am also, still in the process of traveling to VA... currently in Davenport, IA until the morning (7-23-10), if someone has some that I can stop by and get on my way out to VA, I'd be willing to do that too, as I am currently equipped to transport fish... my route entails traveling around I-74 and onto I-64.
Thanks in advance!
