I have been looking for some Biotodoma cupido or wavrini for the better part of a year now thinking they might be a seasonal import, but I haven't seen them anywhere in the 12+ websites I keep up with that specialize in SA cichlids. Anyone seen these recently or know where I can get some. Links or phone numbers to sellers is greatly appreciated.

They always seem to have cupido at PetSmart.

I only go there for dog food but I always check out the fish when I do. The 3 that I go to always have them. They aren't the nicest ones, but they are always there. They are always mixed into the tanks with the community fish.

All three even carry Tropheus now.

WetSpot has had them fairly regularly last few months. They aren't on the list now, but you could always shoot them an email and ask if they are expecting them back in.

My only issue with it is the overnight shipping from Wetspot's store in Oregon all the way down here to Florida. LOL He had some sevs I was interested in a couple weeks ago and I messaged them for a shipping quote and $120 shipping/handling was the response. I would love some Biotodoma, but not quite that badly. LOL

And you would think I could find some Biotodoma here in FL, the land of the cichlid farms and importers, but nooooooo! LOL

Check Aquabid every once in a while :)

Aquabid is one of the sites I regularly check, but either I've blindly scrolled of it or I've just had the worst luck in timing because I haven't ever seen them. :(

I'd contact Snookn21 at http://www.freshwatertropicalfishonline.com/. He used to be a vendor here, and has Biotodoma on aquabid more frequently than I've seen Rapps or Wet Spot get them. See if he has any incoming. Plus, he's down there in Florida. Normally he gets adults in, but if you wanted smaller it couldn't hurt to ask.

They are seasonal though, not commerically bred. Heck, few SA specialist have bred them.
