Washington area MFKer's, if you haven't been, Denny's Pet World (Lynnwood) is having its once-yearly sale. Tomorrow's the last day(Sunday). All sorts of interesting reps are there, and I talked to the Seachem guy for a bit (interesting talk, too) and had a nice chat with the SeaClear tank rep as well. They've stocked up on fish pretty heavily, and the selections good. Freshwater fish are 50% off, salt 30%, hardware's marked to dealer cost. Bought a 10" ornate bichir for $40 and a few clown loaches for close to $4.50ea. Free food to round off the deal.

Might want to stop by if you're restocking or adding fish. Tons of small catfish as well, some unusual. Pleco's too.

Forgot to mention: They've got a common Pleco about as long as my forearm (16"?) chilling in a 55, waiting for someone with a pond or big tank. Free, from what I hear. Someone dropped him off... Might be worth a look.

Can't say I was looking that hard, the place was packed. Some monsters-to-be, but nothing that large on site. They're max retail tank's are 55's, excluding showcases, so they tend to stock small or juvenile. Some fair sized Oscars, Dempsy's, Eels, that sort of thing.

You'll have to bear in mind, when I got there at 9:40, they'd been open for 40 minutes and had already sold more than 50 people fish, and lots of them, and were still handing out places in line for the fish room. Their stock list may have been hit pretty hard.
