I was in san diego for a few days. Decided to go to seaworld. Haven't been for a few years. I was impressed with everything, except for their freshwater aquarium. I'm thinking they need a little work in that area. They did have some nice monsters though. Here are a few shots.
Some of them suck sorry. Tons of little kids putting their greasy hands on the glass.

A very nice red taile. They had about 3 or 4 in with the alagator gars, and manatees.

Here are a few of the alagator gars. They were about 5 ft. long.

Some smaller gars.

This is the fatty manatee they had. Gotta love these guys.

A very nice 3 ft. lungfish.

I loved the archer setup they had.

They had about 6 black ghost. One of ghost had it's tail curled under like a seahorse. Wasn't sure if it was deformed or not. Nice sized! Not as big as mine! Still cool. Didn't manage to get a shot of the deformed knife.

Not entirely sure. I'm thinking they were electric eel. Didn't look at the info. sign.

The cichlid tank wasn't all that impressive. They mixed tangs. and malawi. Personally think they should have one for each of the three lakes. I'm guessing they get alot of cross breeding.

They also had a bunch of rainbow fish, huge arowana, p-bass, clown loaches, sorry didn't get shots. My family rushed me through there because it was hot, and crowded.

Looks good, got a better freshwater setup then the Seaworld here, we only have manatees they took all the fish out =(

Yeah... it looks like a decent setup. I wish more places spent more time on their freshwater exhibits. I have been spoiled with the Shedd and their Amazon Rising exhibit.

Great pix :)

Yeah, they're electric eels.

Nice pics, those two RTC look like they could swallow that motoro.

yea they do need to work on that. But most of the moster fishes are in the manatee exhibit.

The arowana tank is awsome, my fav:) it also has soem of the biggest rays ive seen in person.
