right now I have a rena xp3 and a wisper hob on my 72 bowfront
stocked with 5"oscar 5"jd and three silver dollars I know
Im overstocked l LARGER tank in the works my question is
what would be a good second filter to replace the wisper an xp1 or 2
or an ac110 would be mainly for mechanical fitration because my xp3 is
filled with biomax and pot scrubbies any help would appreciated thanks

Since you are going to be using it for mechanical filtration I would go with the AC110, because of the mass volume of water it moves. Plus it helps keep the water moving and circulating in your tank well, also surface agitation which helps tons with oxygenation of the water.

the only minor problem is the tank is 3"from the wall ac 110 is 4" deep will have to drain and slide out some, thanks for the input

If you dont want to take the time to move your tank to use the AC110, then (this is just me) spend the extra money and get another XP3.

Oh man, that stinks, especially because the AC would be the best bet.

Great job dude. I love AC's as well as the
Penguin 350's. I have also had great experiences
with my XP's.:headbang2
