Right now I'm running a Rena XP3 as my main filter for my 75 and a Penguin BIO Wheel 200 as my secondary filter.

I need a bigger secondary filter, and I'm going back and forth between the Penguin 350 or the Magnum HOT.

I'm leaning towards the HOT, because of the gravel vac. It will come in really handy sucking up food and poo off the gravel between water changes.

What should I get?

The tank has an Oscar(5+ "), Fire Eel(16"), Salvini(3"), Cherax blue "lobster", and tons of MTS.

So I should run TWO rena filstars?

I know there is no such thing as to much filtration, but I don't really have the room to put another Filstar XP3 under the tank.

I'm looking for a hang on filter, just as a "helper" to my XP 3.

I think I'll get the Magnum HOT, I like the gravel washer thing.

i use a penguin 330 and love it and recommed it to you. low cost to start and for filters. there is maintenance though, once a month cleaning really well to keep it efficient

Under gravel filter I will never give up on the under gravel and my fish loss is at almost 0 other than my archer the other day and all water parameters were at absolutely 0!!!

throw aquaclear 500 on the back of that tank i love mine and its really moves the water around alot.....which in turn helps distribut the heat from my heater
