Could someone please tell me a little more about this product, as I'm about to put it in my tank but would like a bit more advice or feedback on it before I do.

The problem Im having is sludge or sediment build up in the pipes of my filter.
Im running an Eheim 2229 and find that the flow of the filter is being reduced by sludge build-up in the pipes. Im forced to clean the pipes every two weeks and if I dont the filter will eventually stop. Will this product help?
