So, I'm moving my fish to another tank. I did not reuse all the water, just a few gallons. I took the sponge from the exiting filter and wrung it out in the tank, which made a nice brown cloud.
Should I move the filter and run it for a few weeks, or did I throw in enough bacteria to make sure the little guys survive?
