I have a new 90 gal. Wanted to use an AC 110 from an established tank to seed my 2 fluval 405's I'll be running. How soon would I be able to remove the AC 110? Stock in the 90 would be a 3.5in flower horn, a 3.5in festae, a 5in chinese algae eater and 13 tiger barbs.

Thanks!

A MONTH??!!

I would say 2 nights would be good. Ive cycled tanks overnight with seeding. A week i guess to be safe but a month is defiantly overkill

tank will be CYCLED with an est. filter BUT..... dont take that filter off the tank for AT LEAST 2-4 weeks ....new filters need time to establish....IF you are using media from the ac filter inside the other filters then you dont need the ac filter on the tank at all ,but it probably will take afew DAYS to fully establish &cycle

Throw in some aquarium plants and you will be fine. Plants really speed up the cycling process. They contain lots of beneficial bacteria on all their surfaces.
