I just noticed this the other day, but when I was watching my piranha just chilling, I noticed there's spots on his back that are like little mirrors, and they throw the light back. Also his black spots are starting to slowly fade. Does this mean he's starting to get his adult coloring?
I have dimmed the light, and Brian's supposed to pick up some live plants for me today. So we'll tweak the rest of the tank to perfection.
He likes hiding around and under the driftwood, and in his rock cave, but at night, when he thinks I'm not watching, that little snot is all over his tank, just stretching his fins.
He leaves the pleco alone now. And that pleco is twice as wide as when we got it. lol, I think he's only an inch longer though.
I'll have to look through my pictures, and see if I have any that show his sparkly side.
