I have a planted 5 gallon that I was waiting for it start having lots of plant growth before I start stocking it with the actual animals. I was researching licorice gouramis for a while, but now I can’t seem to find them from a good online store. I’m thinking 3 black tiger Dario, because that’s the minimum number I’m allowed to get on the wet spot. 6 either chili rasboras or exclamation point rasboras, because that’s the minimum number I could get. And 3 amano shrimp and 1 oto that I already have as algae crew. Is this too much, I have 2 filters on this since I used to use it as a quarantine tank, and its going to get more densely planted and maybe a diy co2 when I rescape it with dragon rocks instead of the driftwood I already have. My light I have on is a fluval aquasky, so what other plants could I get with this light also? I never ordered online fish before, would I drip acclimate the fish or is there a better way to introduce new fish from a different water source?

I don’t know, I want to order from the wet spot, and I live near Lake Michigan.

It shouldn't be that big of a deal. But if you are truly worried call wetspot and ask. Do you know your water parameters?
Not that I'm huge on most YouTubers but I was bored at work today and watched a q&a session from lrb one of the first things he answered was about acclimation of fw shrimp he said it's better to plop and drop then drip but temp needed to be close. For salt water inverts I've always drip acclimated. Then a further temp acclimation. I have not acclimated crays or snails other then temp. I have a large breeding group of crayfish right now. My water is hard with high pH the store I got them from is very neutral. Two of the females I got almost immediately became berried. I currently have 3 different age groups of babies. All my fish went from neutral water at my old house to this without issue, no drip acclimation. Hope that helps you.

I’m not really worried about the water, I just don’t want to make any mistakes. What about the stocking?
