I just re-stocked my large tank. My current stock list is a pair of Dovii, pair of Black Sharks and a 24'' Red Tail Cat. I'm wanting to add maybe another pair of Cichlids and would definitely like a stingray or two.

Any advice?

x2 I would just do 3 or 4 rays and maybe some topwater fish ;)

I'd worry about rays being in with pairs of aggro cichlids like those dovii

That's mostly what I'm concerned about. My knowledge of Stringrays thus far is nil. I'm hoping I'll read about a hardy ray that can hold it's own -if need be- against the Dovii or Sharks. I'm probably going to trade the RTC off so I won't have to worry about him. I want to add some exotic Plecos as well. Well perhaps I'll trade the rays for Plecos.

Believe it or not, my larger Black Shark rules the tank as of now. It was originally their tank and when I introduced the Dovii, the shark immediately took a piece of the Dovii's tail.

It seems the Shark decided I didn't need a pair of Dovii. I just got home and the Shark killed one Dovii and beat the other to the point I doubt it will fully recover. He actually ate about half the body.

I guess I'll try a pair of Jaguars and maybe a pair of Plecos.

any chance you would just dedicate it just to rays?

I like Rays but not that much!

This tank is too large IMO to do just rays. It's 480 some odd gallons so I'm trying to find something to fill it. I'm thinking more and more about finding a pair of Peacocks to throw in with a pair of Jags.
