I currently have a 10-11" Jardini who lives peacefully with my catfish,i have recently been seeing some nice Silvers around and know of a LFS in Conn. that always carries Silvers,my question is what would you guys prefer a nice Jardini or a nice Silver (Blacks and Blues are included),i am mulling this over,i do love Jars but have become interested in Silvers.Thanks!!:drool:

The answer is pretty simple.
If you wanna have community tank, you can go for Silver.

If you prefer solo tank, then Jar is the best choice.

P.S: Some exceptional Jars may leave peacefully in comm tank but it all depends on your luck.:)

I, personnally, cannot choose.

It also depends on the footprint of your tank. Silvers are more apt to turn in tighter corners.
BUT, since you have the Jar, why not stay with that monster and enjoy it? Perhaps get another tank for a silver? Go Monster?

Emmons topical fish store,it is in Simsbury Conn,he always has at least 3-4 Aro's in his store, all are high quality i have bought several from this place. The owners name is Steve and he is a good guy,he may be a little pricey though last time i was there i was looking at a 12'' Silver for $150.00.Give him a call or visit ,his shop is excellent,he has a large selection of fish and can get almost anything in for you.:headbang2
