SO I WASTED 30 BUCKS AT PETCO.. I POSTED PRIOR "WHAT CAN I DO" IF YOU WANT TO SEE MY PICS.. I AM JUST LOOKING NOW FOR A PLANT LIST.. SOME NAMES OF PLANTS I CAN GO WITH IN MY 75. I WILL BE GETTING RID OF THE PLECOS IN MY TANK AND MAKING A PLANTED TANK. SO PLEASE AND INFO ON PLANTS I SHOULD USE WOULD BE GREAT

What is your setup first and foremost. Without certain pieces of info we can't really suggest too much.

I don't need pictures, I need the setup, as in lighting type and amount, co2, ferts, substrate, filtration. Ditch the prime, it will not be good for your plants.

I don't understand the "wasted 30 bucks at Petco" part.

and i have a fluval 405 a 301 powerhead. 1 daytime flourecent 1 flora sun flourecent both 48" and a 36" flourecent plant bulb . i have a about 1.2 wpg. and i dont have a co2 set up.. i put some flourite under my gravel around the plants and picked up some jungle plant tabs(dry ferts)

What type of lighting do you have on your tank? (power compact fluorescent, reg fluorescent, incadescent) What wattage of light do you have? I think youre earlier post said you had some fluorite mixed with gravel as your substrate, thats good. Before suggestions can really be made, the type of lighting is really important to know. Also i see tyou have RBP, they are in the same family as silver dollars. Do they eat plants as the SD's do? I had SD's in my tank for a couple moths , they didnt touch my plants, one morning i got up and they had virtually cleaned out my tank.

With that low of wattage on a 75 g...thres isnt going to be many things you can grow..java moss comes to mind as a start.. Yu really need to increase your lighting in order to have live plants. Ditch the fertilizer tabs for now. Will only cause an algae bloom with that low of light..
You can get a 48 inch oddyssea light strip off ebay (260 watts) for about 120 bucks. At least thats what i paid for mine with shipping about a year ago.

Being that you are using fluorescent bulbs, cut the watts in half then divide by gallons and that is your wpg. Under the lighting you have (~.6 wpg) you can grow only low light plants. Cryptocorynes, anubias, amazon swords, java fern, bolbitis fern, certain mosses (christmas, java) will work fine. If you upgrade lighting, make sure to have enough plants, and a good handle on what your nutrient levels are, otherwise expect a large algae bloom.
