seen in LFS, ID please

I seen this in a local fish shop, they were not sure what it was as it was brought in by a customer. I think it could be Synodontis brichardi

No idea but what a cracking looking catfish! I would get that in a heartbeat great volour markings

It looks a lot like my Mrs's only fish her beloved syno , im not certain what ours is either I'll try get a few pics when I get in Shane

I'm sure ours is one of the hybrids it's similar pattern to that one but a lot chunkier fish they look quite slender on plan cat

Looks like a brichardi to me.

They seem to become recently available in Germany and the US too, collected from the Congo http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=43259
