seepage took out a stand

Had some unnoticed seepage, could have been a drip (splash) off a tank top, or some kind of wicking action, not sure.
Leaned on the stand the other day, heard a creak, and the 55 gal tank dropped 2" on one side.
After draining the tank, turned the stand on end and found this.

Nasty....I found something similar but not as bad on the inside corner of my 265 stand.I ended up having to drain and reseal the tank.

Damn how long did this go on for before your stand took a dump?

Been set up a couple years, could have been that long, its in a line with 7 other tanks, and on a sump, and crammed into a small space.

Fixed the stand a couple days ago with a 2 X 4, filled tank today, redid some of the plumbing, and going to let it sit overnight before adding anything else.
