My local shop has an 8" that it is selling for $20. These fish are very common in my area and do not fetch a high price. In your area it might be different.
You could see if the LFS will offer you credit toward other purchases or if you have something like craigslist in your area you might get a bit more for him.
Or try and see if any MFK members can take him off your hands.
