I have a 65 gallon, 36"x18"x?, with black trim that I'm looking to sell. I would be including the stand, glass tops, light, heater, and gravel. It's in perfect condition, the issue is I don't know what to ask for it. I paid a lot of money for it, and I know I'll never get anywhere near that, and it's a buyers market. So my question is simple, what would you pay for a basic setup like this.

Yeah, what those guys said. I would also suggest going on c-list and seeing what tanks are selling for in your area, because it really does change from place to place.

In the Chicagoland area, if I was selling I would hope for $150-$200 (but probably wouldn't get it). If I was buying, I would be trying to get it for $100 or less.

That what I thought, I'm getting a second marineland 30 gallon half moon. It'll sit beside its twin but one will be fresh and the other salt. Long story short the wife thinks I can sell the 65 to pay for the new tank since the parrots I keep in the 65 will be the new inhabitants of the 30. She wants me to ask 250 out of it, my thoughts were around 125-150. Might just keep it and get a pair of severums.

A pic would better help price it but I would say at least $150-175. Personally I think $200 is a little high.
