Acrylic World warrants all manufactured tanks to the original purchaser against leaks due to manufacturer’s faulty workmanship for the lifetime of the aquarium as long as the aquarium is in her or his possession. This warranty is valid only under the following conditions:
Modification or alteration of the aquarium by drilling, cutting, sawing, gluing anything to, bending, melting, tapping, or other similar means voids the warranty.
Use of a perimeter support stand, even temporarily, voids the warranty. A solid top aquarium stand must be used to support the tank. The aquarium bottom must be fully supported on a flat level surface.
Failure must be the result of a defect in manufacture and not due to improper use, accident, misuse, abuse, or act of Nature.
Pumps and filters covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranties.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the aquarium. The liability of the manufacturer is limited to the replacement value of the aquarium and shall not be liable for the replacement of livestock or any incidental or consequential damages or any acts of nature. Defective aquariums will be repaired or replaced by Acrylic World, at our option, during the first two years from the date of purchase at no additional cost to the purchaser. Repair or replacement value from year two to year four will be limited to 40% of the current Acrylic World price. Repair or replacement value from year four and on will be limited to 20% of the current Acrylic World price.
[FONT="]To be effective, the warranty card must be filled out completely and returned within thirty (30) days from date of purchase. Failure to do so will void this warranty. Upon discovery of the defect, Acrylic World should be notified, and if needed the aquarium should be cleaned and sent freight prepaid to: Acrylic World, [/FONT][FONT="]10862 Capital Ave.[/FONT][FONT="], Unit 4H/4G, [/FONT][FONT="]Garden Grove[/FONT][FONT="], [/FONT][FONT="]CA[/FONT][FONT="]92843[/FONT][FONT="]. A proof of purchase (such as a copy of the sales invoice or receipt) must be provided when making a warranty claim.
