I found three stores that give me a buck a peice for CONVICTS!

Hello again everyone! Been very busy for a few weeks working on the new Sony Bravia advert here in Glasgow. Google Sony Bravia Advert Glasgow and you can see for yourself - not every day you get to cover a tower block with paint!
On the fry front..... Got about 90 platy fry growing in my 15 gallon at the moment, and I'll get half the retail value of the fish if I take store credit, 1/3 of retail if I want cash. As someone said earlier, "my hobby sustains itself"...or it will do when they get big enough to sell!
I reckon most lfs will do a similar deal, whatever the species, here in the UK or where ever you guys are too.

i dah trouble trying to get rid of all of my jack dempsey fry.. it wasnt even worth it to trade them in... they are worth about as much as feeder guppies here
The stores around here will usually give 1/3 retail value cash or 1/2 retail value store credit, but only for fish that they need or think they can sell. I have rarely taken fry into a store and been told that they are 'large enough'. I took in 1" bn plecos and was told they wanted them 1.5" (but they took the 1" fish anyway), and when I came back a few months later with 2" fish they said they wanted them larger still...
