I'm looking to sell my 5.5" Red Texas,he can't quite hang with my big boys(Dovii,Midas,Buttikoferi all 10.5") but is too aggressive and beats up my smaller guys(Midas,G Terror,R Terror from 3-5").My question is how much do you think I should ask for him, here's a pic. Also,I got him for $17 bucks,he was white with black blotches and mixed in with some reg Texas so I figured he wasn't so regular after all. Here are the before and after pics...

How much are you asking and are you shipping? Try the for sale section.

I asked how much everyone thinks its worth and you ask how much I'm asking for it? I want to find out what people would think he's worth before putting him up for sale so I can have more of a set price and skip all the bs talk from lowballers....

You said you paid 17 bucks, how much you looking to profit?

I'd say $50-75 would be fair. It's not bad to get some of your money back for these fish. After all the food and water changes and successfully growing him out.

That's cool,I was thinking I would sell him for about $50. I'm not really trying to make a huge profit off of him but growing him from 2.5" to almost 6" and beefing him up has to count for something...

$50.00 would be a great price. Especially if you can ship.

LOL. what the, good quality red tex push everything $200 or above. That tex of yours seems to have nice coloring to it for such a young age. Feed some new life spectrum and it will bring out its dark red! Your super lucky to get a red tex for $17!!! :o

It's a nice fish but it's not a $200 quality red texas either. Just because somebody else sells them for that much doesn't mean this ones the same quality or anybody will pay that for it. Looks like the OP has done a good job raising him up so far feeding him different foods aren't going to change the appearance of the fish at this point.
