I got and set up a 75 gallon tank last week.
friday I added fritzzyme to help cycle the tank
yesterday I introduced the first fish to start the cycle including ( being safe about fish cycling and doing w/c every other day) including:
6 giant danios and
1 rainbow shark

now my question is, I plan to make this an angelfish / semi aggressive community. Will the angels be ok with the danios or will they be stressed? Once I know, I will start to make a stocking list.

Never mind, after doing research I am not putting my angels with my hyperactive danios. I will just devote my 30 tall to them alone with maybe a few corys.

All the times ive tried angels they die prematurely. Waters always fine and so are the tankmates. I just have no luck with them

I feel bad for you. I love my angels, they come up to the glass to see me and made it through a period of time when I was having MAJOR nitrate problems (140 ppm, luckily down to 35 now) while unfortunate many other fish died. What kind of angels have you kept? The more recessive genes a strain has from the original pterophyllum scalare, the less hardy (and more expensive) they are. I have found that original dominant gene scalares and zebras are the hardiest.
