i know they are can be kept together, like the primer says, im just wondering how well. i guess what i should ask is ~ is there even a remote possibility my senny will take a "test bite" out of my peacock eel. iv been planning on keeping my bichir by himself for his entire life, but im not sure he wouldnt want some friends. then again im a bit new to bichirs so idk, maybe they are like bettas.... they dont like friends ;). at any rate i didnt want to get other bichirs and put with him (or maybe her) because i really love this one and i dont want him to have any competition for food. i want him to have a happy and healthy life where he can not worry about racing to the dinner table to make sure he gets a meal. he's too darn cute to do that too :D. so what do yall think? yes, no, maybe. i just dont want to wake up one day to find my peacock struggling around the bottom cause he has no tail. iv heard to many horror stories about that happening to ppls corys from there bichirs.

Id say yes....but get some more bichirs...mine love to hang out together....a few diff. species of bichirs I might add.

A.There are no guarantees it won't.But theres no guarantees when mixing fish each has its own temperment.Mixing species is theoretical at best,in theory it should work-Anne

ok sounds good, so if i get more bichirs.. should they be more senegals (cause if so id like to get them now while mine is still about as small as the ones at the lfs) or should i maybe get a delhezi or two? hmmm, lets say i just wanted no more than 3 - maybe 4 - bichirs in one tank (like say a 75 gallon), whats a good combination - with one being the senny i already have of course. i dont want to overstock or overcrowd. :)

Add some Delhezi, Palmas, Senegal, and even the albino version of it.
