Senegal Bicher fine in a 55?

I was reading that 29 is a minimum for one Sengalus. Could (2) Senagal Bichers live for life in a 55 gal?

Really? They obtain a length of 10-12" correct? Think its a good idea having 2, or should 1 birchir and something else like a small cat around 6" be alright?

yeah, you should be fine with 2 in a 55 so long as your filtration can support it

Either can work. Bichirs are fine even solitary. If you like cats, try the doradids particularly the Agamyxis pectifrons. Most plecos might suck the bichir's slime coat. It won't always happen but who knows one day it will try to. Bronchis splendens can work well. They grow to 4 inches whereas corydoras are smaller and are at a risk killing both themselves and the bichir.

1 senegal in a 29 is BS, but a 55 is fine I think.

Yeah I know, I thought 55 gal was minimum for a senegal. But I have found several sources/people saying 29 gal is minimum.
