Senegal Bichir, Albino vs Common

How fast do they grow ? I've heard they grow slower and max out earlier than regular Sengals .. Is that true ?

Mine seem to grow at about 1/3 to 1/4 slower than regular senegals. Now as to the max size, I'll have to wait a few more years to know that answer.

I've only dealt with Albinos and the closest to a common I've had was a Long-Finned Sen (choked on a worm a few weeks later ). Albinos trend to stay on the smaller side compared to their normal variant. 8" tend to be the average, but some members have had 10" I've had mine for over 3 years now and it's just pushing 7"

i think is mainly due to feed which you give them, i feed them prawns along with fish food
