Senegal bichir growth rate

Hello im new to bichirs and recently got one.I was wondering what i can do to speed up his growing other than over feeding and raising temperature.

Don't over feed just feed more often, and feed healthier foods. My sen that i had grew about 6" in 3 months after feeding him cut up massivore, brine shrimp, shrimp, pellets, and occasionally beefheart. Also and increase in water changes would help.

Give em some krill now and then along with your regular mix. My friend used krill and they grew like crazy (could be a fluke but iono). Don't do shrimp based foods more than 2-3 times a week due to the thiaminase within the shrimp (shrimp pellets might be different I don't know).
