my sen (got about 37 weeks ago when she was about 3 inches) has in the last week or so had red back fins- its been some time so i expect that has something to do with that? im getting my water tested and doing a tank cleaning on monday and plan on doing it more on schedule, but could anyone tell me what this is, how to get rid of it, and how to prevent it from happening once more? sorry about this- its the first fish ive kept and im gonna be crushed if something happens to her :(

shes in a 100 gal with 3 siamese flying fox but i dont believe they wouldve done anything no?

red fins are a sign of ammonia poisoning. do you test your water ? what kit do you use? what filter and how do you clean it? we need more info on this to help properly.
I would suggest a large water change to start with.

Could be septicemia. Is the Senegalus acting ok? Get ur water checked ASAP. Would get ur hands on some maracyn2 or kanamycin.

Can we get a photo of your 3 Siamese fly fox? That could be 3 different species. If this Senegal is getting picked on. I suspect you have those pesky Chinese Algae Eater (CAE)
as good as i have at the moment- im not at home so im using what i have on my phone. i dont believe they are chinese algae eater, those look quite different

getting water checked on monday- do you think thats soon enough? shes acting same as usual, eating normally (ive cut her back some)- if anything shes maybe getting more "aggressive" towards the 3 other fish, but not enough to hurt them. shes just swimming towards them more
-any idea where i would get those? i looked it up and it does look pretty similar.

These are Siamese Algae Eaters (SAE)

As others have stated. Test your water first. I’d suggest getting one of those API test kits with the glass tubes and color charts. You’ll know more on what’s going on and how to treat. Waterchange recommended ASAP.

flying fox
flyingfox.jpghard to say if those are actual cae or flying foxs which are easily confused with cae.
