Huh? Why not? If not able to get it then cont with water changes and cross ur fingers.

aha it treats nowhere near 100 gal for more than a day :/ its ok though! im just going to get more so ill have enough for my tank. if it says to do the treatment for 5 days, should i continue the water changes AFTER the treatment (says to so it on the 6th day) or should i just. assume the water changes are more important?

I’d do a big water change prior to dosing. Then treat and wait. Redose if able.

bought new filter media

KEEP your OLD media! it has hopefully been cycled and has the bacteria needed to maintain your tank. if you put new in you will have to recycle that tank and that will cause bigger problems.
