Senegal bichir help

I have a 6" senegal bichir in a 55gallon tank along with 7 assorted Zebra cichlids and one yellow lab, 6 females and 2 males. I wanted to know if I could add some Tiger barbs or would the senegal eat them? maybe 2 silver dollars. something that wont grow to large for my 55?
 
Anyone? Also here is a video of my bichir eating
 
IMO Silver dollars need larger tanks because of their skittish nature. Tiger barbs may get eaten. Maybe you can try congo tetras instead.
 
I'd go with some Congo Tetras. They look awesome when they grow.
 
I have a giftcard to petsmart and I dont believe they sell congo tetras. I was worried about the tiger barbs getting eatin. Ill be getting small silver dollars so they will have time to grow into this tank and be comfortable
 
congo tetras are smaller then Tiger barbs, why wouldnt they get eatin?
 
silver dollars move kinda fast man
they go nuts when someone comes near the tank.
