rocky mount,NC
i have a 40 gal ( my tanks says 30 but that tank cracked so i bought a 40 breeder )
in the tank currently is
1 3" firemouth
1 3" rainbow shark (soon to be removed )
1 1-2" pleco
1 1-2" nandus mercatus
2 dalmations mollies (soon to be removed )
3 1-2"false silver dollar ( might need to be removed)
1 feeder crayfish ( that the bichir should eat ):screwy:

now can i have a senegal bichir with these the bichir is only 2-3"
also can i put in a needle nose gar ( false gar )

oops i forgot my african butterfly
3-4"

....Warning I had a Red Lobster (Crayfish) in my tank and it ripped the eye out of my old Senegal.....Unless you have a tiny crawdad or a BIG Sen, don't mix them IMO. The Firemouth, the SDs and the Pleco are what I percieve as a potential problem...That is all

BTW, the Gar Guys will Cruicify you for calling a Needle Nose a Gar (Good thing nobodys a Gar Guy Here with the Poly People)
The African Butterfly may harass the Needle Nose fish and the SDs may nip the P.buchholzi fins

thats how come i said false gar lol
and the crawdad is realy small
and the silver dollers they are FALSE SILVER DOLLARS look them up
they are just a form of larger tetras very shy litte fish
very content with there little cichlid graneuls

The Rainbow Shark would definitely need to be removed as they get way to aggressive IME. Also the pleco isnt a good idea with a bichir.
