Senegal bichir swimming at top

My Senegal bichir has been swimming at the top of the tank lately. I haven't seen him go to the bottom since Wednesday. On Wednesday I did two things though
1.I feed pieces of worms
2.I added a delhezi bichir.
Any ideas on why he's doing this?

They breathe air, maybe he does not feel like swimming all the way down and back to the top. Most sens do like to hang near the top.

Yea but he didn't spend this much time at the top till now.

Mine does it all the time in fact he is perched up on my power head right now. I've read the they do this to watch over their environment specially when they are young.

I don't think it's to watch their environment i think it's because they wait at the top for smaller prey such as insects at the waters top
