It happens every single day, it will just randomly throw it up... Anyone have the same problem? It trashes the tank every day, like I don't know what to do? Tilapia is the only cheap frozen food out there.

If it does it almost every time then it might have a blockage. If he is just putting it in his mouth and trying to chew it and then spitting it out thats something different that just means that the food is either too big or he doesn't like it. But if he is eating the food and it goes down to his stomach and he spits it up then something wrong or his stomach doesn't like it.

Are the fish chunks too big to swallow?

Eh, I don't like using frozen foods to feed my fish, I feel liker its lower quality then fresh. I would try earthworms rolled in carnivore pellet dust

maybe try and cut the tilapia up into smaller pieces and soak it in some sort of juice (not like grape juice lol, but like beefheart juice etc...,). Other than that maybe he just doesn't like tilapia lol

Soak it in garlic. The smell attracts the bichir or something like that. Never tried it but I heard it worked for many people.

I tried that w/ my ornate and tilapia... made my tank smell like garlic! Haha really though it did. Only left when i did a WC and put in my usual 1/4 dose of melafix (as a preventative) the mela smell covered it up.

I really would try for some fresh tilapia
