Senegal compatibility

To all of your poly cult members I have a question from someone who loves thier "side tank" senegal.

I have a 4-5 inch senegal that I just love. He seems to have so much personality and overall seems like a fun fish. Do you think I could keep him in a 90g with a JD, salvini and possibly 1-2 more cichlids all of similar size?

yea. polys usually behave with most tank mates i had my sen with two oscars before with no probem

I have mine with an oscar, clown knife, arowanna, gar, pike, red parrot and jack dempsy and no problems at all.

Wow, awesome. I was thinking about getting rid of him because I didnt want him to get picked on too bad.

Really excited now. Definatly has his own unique personality.

Depends on the individual cichlids. In my experience they tend to nip and chase bichirs (though I've never had anything serious happen to them because of it). I think mainly it's just a matter of tank space/territory.
