I recently bought a 40 gallon breeder for my baby senegal and will be setting it up within the next few weeks, after I decide on the canister filter.
I've been wanting another "small" bichir for awhile now. My only fish currently are one 4" Pink Kissing Gourami and one 5" senegal. I understand my upgraded tank isn't exactly on the huge side, but I got it for $65 and the large footprint is exactly what I was looking for for my sen.
Would I be able to fit one more bichir into a tank of this size? Preferably a delhezi if possible. I have no plans to add anything else in the future, so I'd be sitting at 3 medium-sized fish.
