Senegal fin bump

My Senegal has had this growing on his anal fin since I got him. At first I thought it was the typical muscle that they get but I was clearly mistaken.

Any ID on this? Seems like flesh and it is indeed growing. Is it a cancerous tumour?

I'd assume some type of growth like a tumor. Doesn't look infected. Would watch for now.

Anything that could've caused it?

Hard to say. Not sure what it is exactly. I assume seen more in cb fish just due to poor gene pool, esp for senegalus.
