senegal growth rate

im sure its already been asked awhile before.. but,

I currently have 2 senegals, and was just wondering how long it takes for them to reach their full size?? Ive had one for a year, 7 inches and getting fatter by the day and the 4incher is slowly catching up.

itll grow up to an inch a month until maybe 6-8 inches, then slow down a little.

My biggest one is a fat 8" and is about 5 years old. I have a short body albino that is about 6" and I have had it two years. They are in a 75 gallon tank and are power feed so I think they are close to, if not at their max. size now.

1/2" a month if you're lucky. Gene's, diet, water quality, tank size, etc will all effect it's growth rate.

diet is good, water quality is good..checked daily, proper filtration.. the tank is a 60 gallon.. maybe i should get a bigger one..
