I just got a small 4 inch senegal bichir and right now its in a ten gallon tank, I'm going to put it in my 75 and was wondering, would it be ok with a peacock eel and some opaline gouramis? Or another senegal and gouramis, I just want the gouramis for some mid and top level movement. Or what about another senegal, peacock eel, and some opaline gouramis? I'm really loving my senegal so far, I've been waiting for a while to get one.

Ok, I figured the gouramis would be fine as long as they didnt nip him. Could I keep a couple pictus catfish with a senegalus and the gouramis?
Ive read that the sens may eat a pictus...Im not sure if thats true..I have a sen in my 75g with discus and thats al fine..
Well the senegalus is only 4 inches long right now, hes pretty new, and the pictus are the same size when I get them. When they are both fully grown he wont be able to eat them will he? Plus I am keeping him well fed, I have him in the ten gallon I'm breeding guppies in and the number of guppies has'nt dropped in a while.
Gratz on your bichir, I just got one too. Paid more than what I've seen them for online, but they look awesome 
Really? I only paid like $5 for one at petsmart, where did you get yours? Has any one kept pictus or any other catfish with a senegalus?
