I've been looking into senegal bichirs, and pretty much all info I've found is conflicting, other than diet. For tank size, I have seen everything from 30 gallons to 100 gallons. My question is, to all bichir keepers, what would be the ideal size aquarium for one?
Thanks!

Personally, I would say 55 gallon minimum. My sens used every inch of my 75 gallon. Despite being the smallest bichir species they are also the most active by far

It really depends on how many you have. If just one then I´d recommend a 30 at min. But I have two full grown in a 65 no problem. Bio-load is manageable and they are, as Hendre said, probably the most active species.
