Senegal took a dive into my W/D sump

Came home from eating out with the gf. When I take a look at my tank, i notice my senegal was trap inside my sump. I was shock to find him in there. Couldnt believe this happend. Took me awhile to get him out since it was a tight space to work around. Thank god for the sump being in the right place at the right time to save him. Senegal is doing okay now and is not bruised up

That one is more sneaky than mine was. He went into the overflow box, through the tubes and I found him sitting on the filter pad under the overflow. Escape proofed the box since.
 
Mine wasn't so lucky. he went into the overflow and down the tube to the sump...into the filter pad at the end. RIP

I've put a sponge at the top of the pipe though, so hopefully that won't ever happen again.
