Senegals 1 month growth

Been one month since I bought these little senegals to grow out. They have went from 3" to about 4"-4".250 range in one month. Both are the same length but the one definitely out competes the other for food as you can tell by his chunky monkey belly. Been feeding them twice per day with 85% wc's every other day and temp at 82f. Probably move them into a 29g next after they put on about another inch or so. Then once they get around 6" they will go to their new 4x2x2 120g home.

Hard enough keeping all the display tanks glass clean It does mess with my OCD though that's for sure.

Very good! I'm not having so much luck... Maybe 3" tops growth in 8 months with almost daily feeding and 60% once a month (drought). Yours look fat and happy!

Also, get black sand! Gives a lovely colour

looking good I'd leave algae on the glass and think along the lines of it adds to biological filtration
