Yesterday i got home after work and saw that my little senegal had one pectoral fin all bitten and bloody :irked: he can swin and eat, but he/she isn´t able to move the damaged fin, so i was woudering if this will be a permanent injurie or would be able to use the fin again?

depending on the age of the sene and the exact extent of the injury it could possilby grow back. What did the damage?
To be safe i'd put the sene in another tank by itself to heal-Anne

its a baby and it was done by the other senegalus that share the tank with him, i buy both at the same size but one is in a growth strike while the attacked one isnt growing he is around 4" but skinny while the other one is 5 1/2" but really thick

Odd, I have three sens at three different sizes in the same tank, and they have never shown aggression toward each other, though I did have a convict nip my 5"ers fins... they didn't look so purdy, but they came back good as new. Id say as long as the fins weren't too badly destroyed they will grow back.
