Howdy everyone

Been reading this forum for a while now. I have a 55gallon Paludarium(Halfway filled with water, land on the center back part of the tank). Inside the tanks resides a baby Yellow belly and a Painted turtle. In the water there are a lot of grass shrimps and Rosey reds along with 2 Killi Fish and 2 Armano Shrimp.

Do you guys think it might be fun to put a Senegalus in the tank(LFS has a few 6-7" ones), or would there be any issues. I was hoping that everything that out grows the Paludarium will go outside to my heated 600 gal+ pond.

Thanks.

well it will eat everything in the water, but IMO that shouldnt be an issue :)

who likes rosy reds anyway? Lol, nice live food. I tihnk it would be very fun to have one in there, but get someone else's opinion about the turtles.

Oh yeah, he can have at the feeder foods, those grass shrimp and Rosey's were bought for my Tiretrack Eel, but it did not survive. :(

I was hoping the Bichir will provide the same aggressiveness but growing slowly in my size limited tank.

Like he said...it'll eat anything it can grab in it's mouth..but get a couple and they'll be fine. They are tough little buggers, can live in a wide variety of conditions. Mine have lived in everything from a 16 gallon bucket on my porch to the 55 in my living room, and temporarily in a 29 gal. I move them alot.

STNDFSH:grinno:

Well guys, I wentout and got it. Got home and set the bag in the water, and rearanged the Paludarium and built him a small cave towards the middle. Also I got about 15 Rosey's so the Bichir and the 2 small turtles dont compete for food.
